Coaches Tom & Kim lead our Varsity Girls Basketball team to another Championship banner with a 42-37 win over MAA.  The girls played exceptionally well and did an excellent job representing Gretna Green.  Way to go Gators!!!

On February 7, our K classes participated in the Global School Day of Play.  Children brought in non-electronic play items and practiced the art of creative play all day long!  They were assisted by some visiting friends from other classes.  Check out all the photos in the gallery!

Several GG students and classes were recognized at our January assembly.

Matty Lirette and Tyra Humphreys were chosen as Athletes of the Month.  Emma Matchett and Alexis Allen were chosen as Students of the Month.  Classes of the month were 2G and 4S.  Special recognition went to Ben and Maxwell Steeves, who went above and beyond to help a younger student navigate his slippery driveway on the way home one day.  Check out our gallery for all the pictures!

What an exciting day at GG! Today was the first meeting of the Lego Club! On Mondays and Tuesdays, interested Grades 3-5 students will be meeting in Miss Savoy’s room at lunch time. Check out their builds! Thanks to Miss Savoy for facilitating this hands-on fun for the kids!
