Our Gretna Green community have continued to show their support through the new year of 2016! School partnerships with our business community have been created in support of our Home & School Playground Fundraiser. Business community partners such as Kingstons Fuels, Trevors Hyundai, Trevors Nissan, Fornebu Lumber and the Douglastown Lions Club along with our amazing parents have teamed together to raise over 30 000 towards our final goal of 50 000 to purchase new playground equipment. Wow - it's so awesome to be a member of such a fantastic winning team!!!
Tanner seized the moment during Christmas holidays to cash in on his first place prize of a limo ride spree with friends Ashton, Maddox, Ella and Jaden. He won first place in this year's school fundraiser and thought it would be a good idea to swing by GG. A special thanks to John Fitzpatrick and Robert Holmes for making this happen!
The teachers and students of Gretna Green would like to thank our awesome parents for their generosity in donations during the Christmas season for our new school playground. Money donated during our Christmas concert and donations given in lieu of teacher Christmas gifts totalled approximately $2000.00. Thank you!!!
Happy New Year to the entire Gretna Green learning community. We look forward to making things happen once again in 2016. We have so much to look forward to in the coming year! All students are reminded that their first day back will be on Tuesday, January 5th.

The GG Home & School would like to thank the genrosity of Susan and Shawn Perrett and Kingstons Petro Canada for their genrosity. Our pump the gas for our new playground was a great success. The Home & School managed to raise $4000.00 in just 4 hrs of pumping gas. Many thanks goes out to all the parents who volunteered their Friday night to make this happen!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who were in a postion to donate funds in our good will offering box on display today at our Christmas concert. We are happy to announce that $1100.00 was collected!!! This funding will go directly towards the purchase of our new playground.
The entire GG learning community would like to thank Ms. Bransfield her entire cast and crew who put on a memorable Christmas Concert production today! The acting, songs and entire show was fantastic. Thank you all for your many weeks of effort in putting together this fantastic display of Gretna Green talent today!
Due to today's school cancellation our Christmas concert will be re-scheduled. It will now be held tomorrow, Thursday, December 3rd. There will be two shows. One show will be held at 10:00 am and the second show will be held at 12:30 pm. Both shows will be held in our school gymnasium.
The Gretna Green community is reminded that the choir will be performing both before and during each performance of the Christmas concert. The choir will begin performing approximately 15 minutes before each performance, while the audience is waiting for the show to start. Don't miss it!
