This is a great website that will help students improve their math skills. If you dig a little bit into it, you will find great activities and games that will re-enforce language and math skills.

Have fun!

Welcome to grade 5 French Immersion. I am very please to be your child's teacher this year. I am planning to have an exciting year with my new students. Miss Savoy, a student intern from Crandall University will be with us until Christmas. It is a great opportunity and, an asset for our class to have her with us until then. Miss Savoy was also a graduate from the French Immersion Program at M.V.H.S.. What an inspiration for our students!   Our first week in class when by so quickly and we are already starting week #2. I waited all summer to meet my new students and it was worth it. They are a great bunch of kids. Our first week was very exciting. We laughed, we talked about everything and anything; we had lots of fun.  I am very please to let you know that everyone worked super well all week. In French Language Art, we started a unit on "Respect" and we are working with multiplication in Math. It is important for all students to read in French every night. They received their book from guided reading today. Studies shows that more exposer to reading improves children's ability to speak and write. Therefore, homework will consist of reading every night, math assigned during math class must be finish at home if not completed in class. From time to time, they will have projects or assignments from Science, Social Studies, Health and Art classes to finish or work on at home. Spelling in French Language Arts is done during class time. If you have questions, please call me at school or send me an email on my nbed account (bulgeli@nbed.nb.ca).  I wish a great year to all my students and success to everyone.
