The Tom Donovan Arena, located in Renous, NB, is a top 4 finalist for Kraft Hockeyville 2019! This arena serves several rural communities in our Upper Miramichi region and four Anglophone North schools including Blackville, North and South Esk Elementary, North and South Esk Regional High and Millerton. The building is in need of significant repairs.
The local community is also rallying together in memory of Thomas Dunn, a young fourteen-year-old hockey player from the area, who was killed in a tragic accident last summer.
New Brunswick is the only Atlantic province to never win the honour of hosting Kraft Hockeyville. Therefore, we are asking for the support of not only our school district, but the entire Atlantic family in this endeavor.
Voting for Kraft Hockeyville will take place on March 29th and 30th
Go online and “Vote” as many times as possible between March 29th (1 pm) until March 30th (8:30 pm). You simply need an email account to be eligible. Voters must be 13 years of age or older.
