We would like to remind everyone that our spellathon pledeges are due on Tuesday, November 13th for all students. All money raised will be used to assist us in supporting student based activities and resources throughout the year. We would like to thank all those who participated to support our school!
We would like to inform our learning community that there will be no school on Friday, November 9th for all students as it is a designated Professional Learning Day for staff. There will also be no school on Monday, November 12th as this is our designated Remembrance Day holiday for all students.
Anyone wishing to add a photo to this year's Remembrance Day slide show are asked to email a copy of their family veteran photo to Mr. Comeau, email@example.com Mr. Comeau will accept submissions of photos until October 31st. If you've already submitted a photo in year's past there is no need to submit another time. This only applies to new photos, thanks.
The Miramichi Regional Services Commission awarded Gretna Green with their first ever Green Award for a school. Our school has long practised environmental initiatives and were recognized for their efforts this evening. A special thanks to Mme Gallant for being our school champion on green ideas for our students to implement. Way to go Gators!
A special thank you to coach Amanda Seeley and parents for making this year’s soccer season a great success! Many milestones were made along the way with some great exposure to a fine sport. Well done Gators!
Good luck to our school elementary soccer team who will be participating in our year end soccer jamboree on Friday, October 12th. This will be the final series of soccer games for the season. Mr. Comeau and Mr Ryan will be on site to supervise our school team throughout the day. Please see details below regarding our scheduled soccer games for the day and meal choices at the provided canteen. All students are responsible for the own transportation to and from the games. All games will be at King St. Elementary with the exception of the final game which be held at JMH. Mr.

Congratulations to our school Pumpkin Fling Team who participated in the ASD-N competition over the weekend and placed third! After two weeks of building and planning they created a winning catapult! Way to Ryley, Nathan, Aidan, Winston, Connal and Whitney.
