All students in K-5 are invited to join us for the annual Mango Fun Run being held tomorrow, Sunday, June 26th. Registration will take place between 10:00-10:45 at the Lindon Rec Centre and the race begins at 11:00. Remember, the school with the largest number of participants wins the Mango Cup and we've won the last four years ... so let's make it five GG!!!
The entire Gretna Green learning community is invited to join us in celebration as Mrs. Arbeau enters her retirement year at Gretna Green. Well wishers are invited to share their personal greetings with Mrs. Arbeau on Wednesday, June 22nd from 1:00-2:30 in our school staff room.
The Gretna Green Home & School committee would like to thank all those who supported our Drive One For Your School Fundraiser over the weekend. Your support helped garner $5000.00 in funds from Ford Canada. This fundraiser marked our final event for the year in support of our new playground. We are happy to announce that over $45 000 was raised throughout the year ... wow!!!!
Everyone is encouraged to make their way to Gretna Green this coming Saturday, June 4th. From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Adults can test drive a car and Ford will automatically donate $20.00 towards the construction of a new playground at Gretna Green. So all you have to do is donate 20 minutes of your time and Ford Canada will reward our school with a $20.00 donation for every car that is test driven. So come on out to GG everyone on Saturday, June 4th between 11:00 & 3:00 and make a difference!

It was so nice to celebrate all of the student talent that we have within our school. A special thanks to Ms Bransfield for creating these special mome for our students and to Geoff McLean for assisting with audio!

Donations like Kalli's make it possible for the Cancer Society to make natural wigs for patients struggling with Cancer treatments. Great job in paying it forward Kalli - you are an awesome Bucket Filler!!

The annual GG Fishing Debry begins today, Monday, May 16th and will run until Friday, May 27th. Please record on your tally sheet each day that you have fished over the next two weeks. For every day you've fished your name will go into a draw for some pretty cool fishing gear. Remember, you are all invited to join us on Tuesday, May 17th and 24th at the Enclosure in Newcastle at 3:30 for an hour of fishing. Have fun everyone and tight lines!
Our Home & School Fundraiser proved to be a great success in support of our new playground. Close to 10 000.00 was raised and Jim Robinson from Napan was the lucky winner of our trailer donated by Lyndsay King. Our top three fundraising winners were: 1st place: Brianna Walsh, 2nd place: George Cooper, 3rd place: Declan Carew. Once again, on behalf of the GG H&S, thank you so much for your support!
