On Wednesday, January 20, 2009 Olympic athlete, Andrew Russell, came to visit the students at Gretna Green Elementary. Mr. Russell is a summer Olympian from Nova Scotia. He is a canoeist.  Mr. Russell was also a torch bearer this year when the Olympic torch came to Nova Scotia.  He brought his Olympic Torch with him to show students.  The excitement in the gymnasium grew as Mr. Russell passed around the torch, his medal and his Olympic Ring.  This visit was made possible through RBC.  Thank you Andrew for leaving us with a lot of positive energy and the motivation to live out our dreams!Reporter: ChristopherCamera: Drew
