This week in French, we will continue to talk about our families.  For example: How many people are in our family, who are our family members, what do they look like, what kind of personality do they have, what they like to do, etc.  Students can bring in photots of their family to present to their classmates. (Some students have already done so). Students will also create a Halloween monster and write about their monster in their writing journals.  This activity is a great way for students to practice all of the French structures they have been learning since September.   In Math, we will work on numbers 0-100 and also complete our unit on Patterns.  Students will have a test on Patterns on Thursday.  I will send home a practice sheet on Patterns this week.  Students should be able to: • Identify, extend, create, and compare increasing patterns.• Identify, extend, create, and compare decreasing patterns.• Find pattern rules.• Display number patterns on hundred charts.
