In math this week, we will , we will continue working on  Reciting the number sequence forward by 1s from 0-100,Comparing two given sets (up to 20) and court by 2, 5, 10 up to 100 and working on naming a number that represent one more, two more, one less and two less , (0-20) and Identify and correct countingerrors

 

In French Language Arts, we will work to work on the following oral structures:

 

Que fais-tu quand tu es__________?

 

Quand je suis content/contente, je chante.

 

Quand je suis triste, je parle avec un ami.

 

Quand je suis surpris/ surprise, je respire.

 

Quand je suis en colère, je prends une pause.

 

Quand je suis nerveux/nerveuse, je ferme les yeux.

 

Où habites-tu?

 

J’habite à… (Fredericton sur la rue Connaught.)

 

J’habite…  (en ville, à la campagne, au bord du lac Yoko…).

 

J’habite dans… (une maison,  un appartement…)

 

Comment vas-tu à l’école?

 

Je vais à l’école...(en voiture, en autobus, à bicyclette…)

 

We will also lean winter vocabulary and work on the sounds “in”

 

Homework is a great way to reinforce skills as well as keep you updated with what we are learning in class.  This week, homework will be sent home on Monday to be returned to school by Friday.   

 

  A math sheet is will be sent home “Je peux faire dix”. words of the week. (sur, à, voici, pour, en ,lui ) It is important that your child practice reading their words each night as this will help with fluency and recognition of sight words. In reading, your child will be bringing a Guided reading book at home. It would benefit your child if she/he reads every night and returns his/her book the following day.

 

Please be sure to check your child’s binder daily and our website weekly.  I will have important notes and documents on both.
