November 5-8

In math this week, we will continue to work on understanding that numbers represent specific quantities, recognizing that numbers can be made of two parts, and sorting items based on color, shape or size. 

In French Language Arts, we will continue to work on the following oral structures:

Quel animal as-tu à la maison?

Comment s’appelle ton animal.

A quoi ressemble ton animal

We will also learn Remembrance day vocabulary and working on the sound “ è”

Library day for this week will be on Thursday.  Please make sure that your child brings back their books on that day.

Homework is a great way to reinforce skills as well as keep you updated with what we are learning in class.  This week, homework will be sent home on Monday to be returned to school by Thursday.  

Students are encourage to read every night the book to be read this week is Les animaux de simon  A math sheet is will also be sent home page 41 écris le nombre manquant “write the missing number” and  spelling of the week. (il, la, le elle, ta, un je, papa, maman et ma)

Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday, November 9 (professional learning) or Monday, November 12 (in lieu of Nov. 11)

Please be sure to check your child’s binder daily and our website weekly.  I will have important notes and documents on both.
