Week of October 29 to November 2

In math this week, we will continue to work on counting backward to 10, reciting number to 30, recording a given number 0-20 presented orally, sorting items based on color, shape or size and Recognize that numbers can be made of two or more part.

In French Language Arts, we will continue to work on the following oral structures:

Quel animal as-tu à la maison?

Comment s’appelle ton animal.

A quoi ressemble ton animal

Mon monstre a 5 ans, elle a les cheveux bruns et les yeux bleus.

We will also learn Halloween vocabulary and working on the sound “è”

Library day for this week will be on Thursday.  Please make sure that your child brings back their books on that day.

Homework is a great way to reinforce skills as well as keep you updated with what we are learning in class.  This week, homework will be sent home on Monday to be returned to school by Friday.   

Students are encourage to read every night the book to be read this week in “Quel animal as-tu à la maison?”

-A math sheet is will also be sent home page 12 colorie les ensembles de 5 elements (color the groups of 5 and color the groups of 8)  

-the word of the week are: bonbon, chat, noir, orange, vois, maison.

Please be sure to check your child’s binder daily and our website weekly.  I will have important notes and documents on both.
