Happy Mother’s Day to everyone this past weekend. Please note that next Monday is Victoria Day Weekend.

Our year end field trip has been book. We will be travelling to the Bouctouche Dune’s on June 7th. A notice will be sent home a week prior.

French – We will continue to leisure/free time activities as our oral structure. We will discuss when we can enjoy such activities. New books related to the unit will continue to be rehearsed and sent home. Our weekly poem “Je suis un enfant” will also be sent home.

Guided reading will also take place with myself during our Daily 5. Please note that year end expectation for students is to be within the F-G-H range.

Math - We will complete our Fractions unit this week. Next week we will explore graphing. In June, students will learn about .0geometry and review mental fact facts taught throughout the year. Please feel free to go to Learn Alberta website found in my web links to practice various outcomes. Math Reflex is also another great resource that students have been practice here at school.

Health - We will be discussing feelings and how one expresses their emotions. Students will perform various skits and play charades.

Social Studies – Students will begin to create their own maps and begin to incorporate all characteristics. Throughout, we continue to talk about the province of N.B.

Science – This week will serve as a review. Next week, we will move on to our Soils unit.

Please refer to our school website regularly for important information and postings. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at school. I will respond via phone call as promptly as I can. Let’s have a great week! Cheers :)
