Welcome back to another week in 6, 7, 8 FI Glazier. I trust everyone had an enjoyable Victoria Day weekend.

A reminder to students that the sign-in forms for our upcoming dance (June 1st) are due tomorrow. Please return to homeroom.

French - Grade 6 students continue to work on their opinion text. The grade 7 students will finalize their procedural writing assignment this week. Grade 8’s will be drafting their letters to the editor. Comprehension review of verbs covered throughout the year to continue. Weekly quizzes will be given.

Math - Angles and Polygons unit test Friday. Our last unit of study will be Geometry. This week students will construct and compare triangles, regular and irregular polygons, and develop formulas to determine perimeter area and volume. Lessons will continue into next week. Please let me know as well if you wish to have any additional work for your child to complete at home. Please note that our Provincial Numeracy assessment will be administered the 1st week of June.

As always, if you have any questions, please contact me at the school. I will respond promptly via telephone. Let's have a great week at GG!
