Welcome back! Spring like weather is finally upon us. Morning recesses will now take place outside.

French - This week’s focus will be leisure/free time activities. We will specifically explore with whom and where we enjoy such activities. New books related to the unit will continue to be rehearsed and sent home. Our weekly poem “Dans mon jardin” will also be sent home. A link to the video will be posted in my teacher page.

Guided reading will also take place with myself during our Daily 5. Whilst a group is reading, others will be working in various centers. Students will receive new book within a 4 day cycle to be brought home along with their new sound and song/poem sheet of the week. Please note that year end expectation for students is to be within the F-G-H range.

Math - We will complete our Measure unit test on Monday. We began last Wednesday. We will be moving on to Fractions.  They will be corrected and sent home to be signed by Friday. Please feel free to go to Learn Alberta website found in my web links to practice various outcomes. Math Reflex is also another great resource that students have been practice here at school.

Health - We will be discussing personal habits i.e. coughing and sneezing into our sleeves, brushing our teeth, etc.

Social Studies - Topography and the various terrains situated within our province will continue to be the order of the week.

Science - We will use the week to finish up last minute assignments and review. Due to last week’s condense classes. Later in the month, we will be moving on to our Soils unit.

Please refer to our school website regularly for important information and postings. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at school. I will respond via phone call as promptly as I can. Let’s have a great week! Cheers :)
