Welcome back to 4FI Glazier. I trust everyone had a restful long weekend. I’d like to congratulate the class along with Madame Lockerbie’s for a fantastic Remembrance Day ceremony performance last Friday. Students worked really hard and sang great!

There will be a special breakfast in our cafeteria this Saturday morning. Tickets were sent home last week. Please contact the school if you require further information.

French - Students will be introduced to our new informative writing piece and begin to draft their ideas this week.  Students will incorporate what they have learned previously in the writing to complete the task. As always, spelling test and comprehension tasks take part on Friday’s.

Math - We continue to practice our multiplication daily. Thus far we have focused on the 2, 4, and 5s. We continue to practice the 3s. This week’ focus will be multiplication whilst using the “doubles” strategy. We will also be introduced to the new terms to be covered in the unit. Unfinished work will be sent home. Please notify me if you wish to have any additional works sent home to practice. Unit test end of next week.

Social Studies - This week, students will be logging on to laptops for the first time using their passwords. We will explore how to use PowerPoint in preparation for our project. Our goal is to create our title page and upload images for our selected province/territory.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at school. I will respond via phone call as promptly as I can. Let’s have a great week! Cheers.
