Oct 19th-23rd

Posted: October 19, 2020

Welcome back. I hope you all had a restful weekend. Sunday was a beautiful day.

Few notes:

  • Library on Tuesday
  • Fundraising tickets due Monday Oct 19th.

French - Books have begun to make their way home. Typically students regress by 1-2 levels over summer. Please keep in mind however that your child(dren) has missed 6 months of instruction due to Covid. We have created reading groups in class and practice daily. Books will make their way home every 2 or 3rd day, so please continue to re-read if need be nightly. There are always new words to rehease, master, etc.

We continue with our Halloween theme. Students are learning new vocabulary daily and completing many fun activities.

Math - We continue to work with Patterns and have incorporated counting by 2, 5, 10, etc. within the mix. Mathletics on the school iPads has also been a hit with students and is proving beneficial.

Let's have a great week. If you have any questions and/or concerns, please send me a note or e-mail. Cheers :)
