Welcome back. I trust you all had a good Thanksgiving weekend and ate some turkey :)

Few notes:

  • Library on Tuesday
  • Fundraising tickets due Friday. If you require more, please let me know.

French - Books will be sent home Wednesday and Thursday in your child(ren) green reading bag. I am also in the process of creating 2 new classes for online learning. 1 is entitled "Lalilo" and the other "Boom Learning." We will practice this week how to log in to these sites in case we are sent home and require home learning. If we have time during our week, student's will be given the opportunity to practice furthur.

Our new theme will be all about Halloween. Students will learn new vocabulary and complete themed related activities.

Math -This week we will continue to focus on how to represent numbers in various ways i.e. picture, table, etc. If the weather permits again, we will be going outside to create more patterns on our walking trail to share with the class. Next week, we will wrap up this unit with a small class quiz and dig deeper into our Pattern's unit.

Side note: Mr. Ryan has created a Gretna Green Elementary Sports page on Facebook. Please feel free to join :)

Let's have a great week. If you have any questions and/or concerns, please send me a note or e-mail. Cheers :)

PS If you have any pictures of special events, etc., please send them along. We will share with the class.
