We have been studying structures in Science.  The class was given the simple task of creating a structure that would stand by itself, using only the materials they were given.  Each group was given 100 straws, two blocks of modeling clay, and one meter of tape.  The groups worked well together and had made some interesting discoveries on day one of this project.  See the image gallery below to see how they made out!
