Spelling:  This week we are working on the “ar” family.  This again is part of our polite partner’s series of words.  Robby Rabbit makes the hardest workers (vowels) change their sound.  bar, car, jar, tar, card, yard, start, carry, warm (bonus words) Math: Our Measurement unit is soon coming to an end.  We will be looking at capacity and weight this week.  There is no math homework this week. Grade 5 Yard Sale:  Our grade 5 students will be raising money for their end of year trip.  This will take place on Wednesday and everything is a $1.00 or less.
