Spelling:  Students are working on the word family "ind" this week.  They have learned a new zoo phonics signal for when "i" says its own name.  Students are to show the same action for Inny Inch Worm and then point to themselves.  blind, find, hind, grind, kind, mind, wind Language Arts:  Students are continuing to work on the "Idea" trait.  Math:  We are now looking at Subtraction stories.  We are using terms like "subtract", "take away" "subtraction sentence" and "subtraction story". Note:  10 - 7 = 3 is called a subtraction sentence Reminder: Home folders (green) - should be returned each day. Homework binders (White) - Go home on Monday and are to be returned on Friday.
