Dear Readers,
Happy Halloween to all! We were so busy working on Halloween activities this week. Last Friday we decorated a pumpkin for Pizza Delight and on Monday we decorated another pumpkin that is on display in the office. On Tuesday we all wrote spooky stories for our reading buddies. They wrote spooky stories for us and we shared them together. We were not scared of their stories, but they were really scared of ours. Wednesday was Scary Hair Day. We had webs, skeletons, hair spray, spiders and hair that just stuck up in the air. We had lots of fun getting our hair ready in the morning. Thanks parents for helping us with our hair. We all wore orange and black on Thursday and Dalton even had orange and black in his hair. Our school President, Jarad, took our picture for Orange and Black Day. We are all EXCITED for this afternoon because we get to wear our costumes for the Halloween Costume Parade.
Our costumes are:
Kaylee - Devil
Skylar - Bumblebee
Cameron - Iron Man
Megan - Hula Dancer
Braydan - Wolverine
Logan - Star Wars character
Dalton - Pirate
Drew - Princess
Mia - Spiderella
Gillian - An action figure
Jaden - Wolverine
Samantha - Princess
Hunter - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
Evan - Star Wars character
Keisha - Fairy
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
Sincerely,
Mrs. O'Toole's Grade One Class
P.S. Bud just returned to our classroom today. He was in the United States visiting McGruff and Scruff. He stayed longer to help them film a Halloween Safety movie. We are glad he is back. We love him because he writes us letters and he is really cute.
