Skating On Our Outdoor Rink
At Gretna Green
Elementary School we have an outdoor rink.
We went skating on the rink three times so far. We have to bring skates and a helmet to
protect our head. Some parents or other
family members come to watch us and help us skate. We need help putting on our skates and
helmets. Thank you for helping us. The Kindergarten class is lucky that the
weather has been perfect skating weather. We
would like to thank all those who help clean the rink off after it snows. Alexander says, “Thank you Mother Nature for
the great weather.” Xander, Mirinda,
Ava, Alexander, Gracie, Dylan and Keira said that they noticed a big difference
with their skating because of all the practice.
Mirinda wants to thank Emma and Gracie for helping her skate. Some of our classmates are going to skate on
the rink over the March Break. We all
hope we can go skating again after the March Break.
