Happy Monday! What an exciting week we have ahead of us! Thursday is Valentine’s Day and Friday is the 100th day of school!
On Valentine’s Day, we will be handing out our class valentines before lunch time. After lunch, from 1:00-2:00 we will be skating!!! Parent volunteers are more than welcome to join us for this fabulous Valentine’s Day fun! Thursday is also “Pink Shirt Day”! Wear pink to show that you are against bullying!
We are reviewing our "5 Senses" this week with a delicious valentines theme! Ask your child to tell you about the projects they presented to the class! Each table had a different sense and they taught the rest of the class all about that sense! (Some even made up a catchy little tune!)
Friday is our 100th day of school! Time sure does fly when you are busy learning! Our show and tell will be the 100 day projects that some students chose to do for homework!
Our new sight words this week are: “Not” and “Am”. Please practice these sight words at home and see if your child can find them when you are reading together!I hope you have a magnificent week!!!!
