Happy Valentine's day! I hope everyone had a great day yesterday! There were many students and teachers wearing lots of red, pink and white!   Homework for this week:  Math: We are working on Division and using Arrays to divide. Study your 9x facts. Writing: Revise the paragraph about "lions" which is in bold.  Use descriptive words in the phrases to replace dull words. The writing focuses on word choice which is what we are working on in class right now. For an example, if it says "The female lion hunts for food and brings it back to her cubs and the male lion." It could be changed to "The female lion sneaks up to her prey and brings dinner back to feed her family." Read for 15 minutes each night.     Congratulations to Lauren Simmons who won gold at her basketball tournament over the weekend!
