Homework - November 22

Posted: November 22, 2010

Students will read for at least 15 minutes every night.  New book log sheets (for November) are now in homework books.  Students may change the amount of time they decide to read each night.  They will mark their November time on their sheets.  They must read at least 15 minutes.  Students are to log each book they finish on their sheet.  They DO NOT have to log every night, unless they finish a book.  The reading activity for November is the Book Jacket (folded sheet is in the side pocket with the reading log).  This is due at the end of the month.  Students will complete their book jacket on a book they have recently read.  The blank sections on the outer side of the jacket are for illustrations.  The lined parts are for 1) telling what the book is about without giving away the ending) and 2) for trying to convince the reader to read this book. Reading Comprehension - "Jada and Jessie" (due Friday) Math - Lesson 3 (due Friday) Students do have to complete the "Stretch Your Thinking" question.
