November 4th - 8th

This week, we will be working on the letters Nn and Oo.  Nn can be found in the names Jackson, Matheson, Annie, Sidney, Kaden, Evan and Trenton.  What happens to your tongue when you make the sound for the letter n?  Oo is a vowel and makes 2 sounds.  Sometimes it makes the short o sound in words like octopus, October, Molly and often.  It can also say its' own name like in the words open, over, and photo.  Practice printing these letters at home.   We will continue to work on rhyming this week.  See how many sets of rhyming words you can make at home!   New homework calendars and sight words will be sent home this week.  Keep working on your sight words!  Try and use them in your writing.   Our school Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held on Friday, November 8th at 10:15 am.   In Math, we are working on numbers to 5. Practice printing these and making sets with different objects.
