Hope you are ready for another fun week in Kindergarten!   This week we will work on the letters e and f.  E is a hard worker and makes two sounds!  Show your parents the signals and tell them the sounds for ellie elephant and francy fish. Look for these letters everywhere!  Remember that Show and Tell is on Friday.  Our sight word this week is: "a".  Last week we learned "I" and "like".  Tell your parents how to spell these words and try and use them in a sentence! (I like dogs.) We are going to continue to work on rhyming!  Play a game with a friend to see who can come up with the most rhyming words. Remember that to rhyme, the words must have the same ending sounds! Cat and hat rhyme but cat and dog don't!   In Math, we will keep doing the number of the day. Our link chain is getting longer! Our pattern activities will be very tasty and fun this week!   Thanksgiving weekend is coming up. We will learn some turkey songs and poems and make a cute craft while thinking about the things we are thankful for in our lives.   Homework starts this week. Homework folders and books can stay home until Friday.  The alphabet books that were sent home last week, can stay home.  Please trace the letters and work on the sounds often! Have a great week!
