Happy Monday boys and girls!Last week, we learned about the letters Aa and Bb. Practice printing these letters at home and search for words that have a and b in them! This week we will be working on the letters Cc and Dd.  Show your parents the zoophonics sound and signal for catina cat and deedee deer.  The letter c can be found in the words car, circus, Caden and Jack. The /d/ sound can be found at the beginning of the words down, deep, dice and Dean!  What happens to your tongue when you make the sound for d? Practice printing these letters at home.  In writer's workshop we will keep praticing sketching and labelling our stories.  Remember to add detail!    We go to the Library on Thursday. Remember to bring your book back so you can get a new one!  The spare change drive for Terry Fox begins this week.  For  every $1.00 you bring in, you earn a ticket for a chance to be Principal or Vice Principal for a day! We are going to start learning about patterns this week in Math.
