Mrs. Blakley organized a chess club again this year at Gretna Green Elementary. There were 45 students that gave up their noon hours once or twice a week to challenge their peers to game of chess. 9 Gretna Green students attended the District 16 Chess Tournament: Alex Williston, Gillian Cassidy, Broday Browne, Drew Blackmore, Kaitlyn Comeau, Sophie Poirier, Ben Freeze, Patrick Hache and Koby Donovan.Good Luck to Koby Donovan, Drew Blackmore, Brody Browne and Kaitlyn Comeau who will be attending the Provincial Chess Tournament on April 4th.
