One of our students of Gretna Green Elementary, Hunter Row, has come up with a pretty unique fundraising campaign for a friend.  His friend, Aleah Somers from St. Andrews Elementary, was recently diagnosed with leukemia.   Hunter would like to support her as she commences her treatments. Gretna Green will be having “crazy hat” day this coming Friday, November 30th.  Each student who participates will be asked to bring in a loonie or any other monetary donation in support of this fundraising campaign for Aleah on Friday, November 30th.  So let’s show Aleah and her family that Gretna Green cares and send her a message that we are all thinking about her.
