The entire learning community of Gretna Green would like to wish you all a fun filled yet restful March Break. We all look forward to your return on March 11th!
This month's assembly was filled with applause, cheers, song and dance as we rapped up another month of celebration at Gretna Green. Home & School President, Kim Mah, presented prizes to our top fundraisers and our monthly awards and certificates were also celebrated. This month's assembly finished off with some great student talent as they danced for the entire school. Good times!
Some of our students were given the opportunity to listen to some fine percussionists with other students at Carrefour Beausoleil. They were thoroughly impressed with the display of talent and looked forward to putting to practice some of the skills they learned on their own student desks.
During a recent hockey tournament in Sunny Corner, the Carlee Carney Memorial Tournament, some of our own Gretna Green students were victorious! Players were, Colby Smith, Ethan King, Caleb Donnelly, Matthew Roy, Matthew Brennan and Amy Adams. They won 1st place in the Atom Division of the Tournament and brought home Gold medals. They were lead by head coach Mark Donnelly, Caleb's dad.
