Spring League Basketball for girls from Grade 2-5 will be held at Gretna Green starting the week of April 7th at 6:00 pm. There is no charge for players already registered with Miramichi
Hoops Booster Association. For new members the cost is $20.00.
No previous basketball experience is necessary. Grade 2-3 Six sessions starting Tuesday April 8 at
6:00 at Gretna Green and ending at 7:45. Every Tuesday with the last
session on May 13. Grade 4-5 Six sessions starting Thursday April 10 at 6:00 at
Gretna Green and ending at 7:45. Every Thursday until May 15th
Teachers and students were honored this week during our monthly school assembly. Gretna Green recently found themselves nominated for seven CUTE Awards. This exemplifies the many unique opportunites provided by our teachers and the students who put in the extra effort in creating unique learning opportunities. All finalists featured in this photo were presented with a certificate of appreciation for their dedication to making a Gretna Green a great place to learn!

Mrs. Gardiner and Mr. McKinnon lead some of our grade 5 students on a snowshoeing expedition at French Fort Cove this week. It provided the students with a taste of some of the intricate trail systems we have readily available at French Fort Cove year round. A great time was had by all. A special thanks goes out to Mrs. Gardiner and Mr. McKinnon for making this happen for our students!
Ms. Bransfield and Mrs. Lynch lead our grade one and two students through songs and square dancing today at our district music festival. They all did exceptionally well and it proved to be an excellent experience for everyone involved. Thanks again to Mrs. Lynch and Ms. Bransfield for making this happen for our students!
