Happy Halloween!  There are many fun things happening this week at Gretna Green.    Monday - pumpkin decorating and spooky stories Tuesday - Scary Hair Day Wednesday - Black and Orange Day and Halloween Gym Class Thursday - Costume Parade (in afternoon) and Wrap the Teacher Friday - Pizza Party for KM **There will be a note sent home regarding Thursday and Friday.   This week, we will be working on the letters Ll and Mm.  What happens to your tongue when you make the sound for the letter Ll?  What do your lips do when you say the Mm sound?  Ll is found in the words lamp, Ophelia, Caleb, lips, and lights.  Mm is in my name, Miss Matheson and also in the words mouse, name, maple and mittens.  Practice printing these letters at home.   Picture retakes are on Monday.  There is a candy jar guess happening all week at lunch (1 guess is 25 cents).  Show and Tell is Friday.
