Wow..this first week of October!  Time is flying by. This weekend is Thanksgiving weekend.  It will be a four day weekend for students.  On Tuesday, October 9, teachers have a Professional Learning Day.*Scholastic Books order are due back on Friday October 5, 2012.*Mad Science starts this week.  Mawj, Shahd, Austyn will be going on Wednesday and Cole D., Tyra, Shariq are signed up for Thursday.* This week's Cross Country meet is in Nelson Language Arts - We will be introducing Work on Words during our Daily 5.Math - We will continue to work with increasing numbers patterns and will have Math Centers later in the week.Social Studies - We will finish Chapter 1 "Where Is New Brunswick".Spelling - We have our new words for the month of October.  See below: city                 prettiestcommunity     laughedcountries        schoolsexciting          togetting           toopretty             twoprettier          was Please get September's Spelling Test signed! We will also be reading the book, "Twas The Night Before Thanksgiving" by Dave Pilkey, and completing a fun book report based on this book! It will be another awesome Superstar week!  Remember to follow us on Twitter.....
