In Social Studeies, we are learning about our province. We will talk about our cities, natural resources, transportation and jobs in New Brunswick. In writing, students will work on a personal narrative writing piece. We continue to review writing and reading strategies on a daily basis.In Math, we continue to review estimation, mental math strategies and adding two and three digit numbers. We are also working on subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers. Have a great week!Mme Lockerbie :)

In French Language Arts, we have commenced a health unit. We are learning about the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle. We are also looking at the different food groups and what types of food go in each group. We are talking about healthy, balanced meals and students will draw a balanced meal and present it to the class.
In Math, we keep reviewing our numbers from 0-1000. This week students continue to review basic math facts and some mental math strategies (doubles, near doubles, making ten). We are also working on rounding off numbers to the nearest tens and estimating sums.
