The grade 4 class had a wonderfull morning at the Newcastle Bowling Lanes. Many strikes were bowled and even a few gutter balls! The morning ended with a great meal at Dairy Queen. A fun time was had by all!!

Grade 4 had a wonderful morning exploring the marsh in Napan with Ducks Unlimited. Our 2 guides led us through a variety of activites where we learned about marshes, swamps, ponds, salt water and fresh water lakes. We searched for critters in the water and we used binoculars to look for birds. A...

A reminder that students should dress appropriately for this trip. If they have rubber boots they should bring them. As well it would not hurt to have a change of pants in case they get overly wet at the marsh. There has been a lot of rain and the grasslands will be quite wet.

With assessments starting this week, there will be no regular homework (other than nightly reading) for 4B students. Regular homework will resume once the assessments are over. As such, the May spelling test and the fractions/decimals test will not take place until after assessments. This is to ensure that the students are rested, fresh, and ready to do their very best on their upcoming assessments.
Correction: The bowling field trip will take place on Wednesday, June 16, not June 14 as written on the June calendar.
