The grade five students of Gretna Green participated in their first video conference of the year. It was an excellent opportunity for our students to meet their partnered Intensive French class of Vincent Massey Elementary.  Our students will be paired with another student of VME and present their respective partner through the creation of a podcast in French.  Two more scheduled video conferences will provide the students with an opportunity to receive a tutorial on podcasting and share their end products with their peers.   We would like to extend a special thank you to District 16 technology mentor, Mr. Craig Duplessie, who has been supporting us with his technology expertise and guiding us through this special project from day one.  Thanks again to Mrs. Simmons who has been exceptionally receptive to this project and providing all the support necessary to make this project a success.
