Hello everyone and welcome back to another week!  Congratulations to our new class represenative, Ben!  Well done Ben, we all know you will do a great job!  Good luck to those of you running on Wednesday for the X Country run at England's Hallow in Chatham.  Parents are reminded of a Information Session on the French Immersion program on Thursday, September 23rd at 6:00 pm.  Don't forget our penny drive for the Terry Fox Foundation this week.  For every dollar raised your name will go on a ballot to be drawn for the Principal For A Day contest.  In French this week we will continue to work on our verbal skills and explore some new books.  Your parents will also get a chance to hear you read as you take your books home for reading.  In Math we will be exploring numbers 1-100 in French and working on number patterns and skip counting.  It is also our turn for Morning Announcement jokes.  Caleb has been waiting for awhile for his turn!

I would like to remind parents and students that pokémon cards, hockey cards etc ... are not permitted in the classroom.  They become too much of a distraction for students during instructional time.  Thank you for understanding.

I had a great summer!  My family and I went to Disney World in Florida for a week.  We got to eat dinner with the Princess which was amazing.  At the end of July my aunt got married on top of a big boat and I was the flower girl.  It was really fun!   We went to the beach and stayed at my cottage in Blackville a few times.  I loved going on the tube behind the boat and biking to the park.    Ellie and I had a dance show for our neighborhood and raised money for the SPCA.  When I dropped the money off at the shelter, I got to see the cat room that had 61 cats in it.  That was interesting!   The last weekend of the summer I will be going to a Red Sox game in Boston.  My dad and brother love baseball but my mom and I will probably shop.    See you next week, Molly Hutchison
