I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable extended weekend. This week should be an interesting one. On Wednesday we will be having our school oratory competition and I know our class represenatives will do just fine. Good luck to Lexy, Christopher and Taylor! We will be having a special visitor from Columbia joining us today, so let's make sure we all make her feel welcome. In Math this week we will be looking at Probability. We will also be giving an opportunity to our "sellers" in the class to show us their best sales pitch. Health issues and healthy eating will also be "blended" into this week's teachings, it should be fun!

I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you who so kindly donated items for our year end field trip fundraising campaign. Ticket sales were phenomenal! The final tally in ticket sales surpassed $900.00. We now have enough money to finalize all arrangements for our trip. Great job Comeau team. I would also like to personally thank Kelsey Paul and her family for the donation of lobster. I am sure Mrs. Simmons will enjoy her special Mother's day meal!!! Enjoy your long weekend team. May has arrived team! Well, you are all in for a short three day week due to teacher meetings on both Thursday and Friday. We will be having a Math test on the unit of Measurement. This unit test will cover area, perimeter and volume. In Language Arts we will be exploring the idea of creating an award for a winning author and our Mother's Day stories are due today. Good luck to A.J and Zachary who will be away this afternoon on special assignment. Thanks again to all of you for donating so many neat and wonderful items for our Mother's Day basket. A big thank you goes out to Kelsey Paul and family for the donation of live lobster, wow! Our draw for all prizes will be held during Wednesday morning announcements. Good luck to Lexy who will be representing our school at a District 16 Music Talent showcase this week ... break a leg Lexy! Don't forget that our floor hockey playoffs resume today with a game against St. Andrews, good luck boys and girls!
