Canoe Adventures!

In preparation for our class trip on Friday Mr. Buggie was in today to deliver a tutorial on canoe safety, paddle strokes and the proper use of PDFs. The team is preparing for their canoe adventure at the MVHS pool this coming Friday. We will update you with future pictures and highlights from our team trip!

Homework - April 26th

Math: Pgs. 129-130 - Questions 1-5 & 7. Language Arts: Mother's Day Writing Activity- Begin working on Draft copy - due Wednesday. Reading- 15 minutes Speeches - Final copy due on Thursday. All Spell-A-Thon money should be returned tomorrow. Social Studies: Sign and return your assignment grade sheet. Friday is the last day for handing in money on our Mother's Day Basket draw. Sign and return canoeing permission slip asap, thanks!

Monday Message April 26th-30th

Our training session for canoeing will be Tuesday morning and our big canoeing adventure will be at MVHS pool on Friday from 9:00-11:30 am. I hope you are looking forward to this great activity, it should be fun! In Math we will continue on with our unit on Measurement. Our final copy of our speeches will be due on Thursday and we will begin formal presentations on the same day. We still have four students who have not presented their Middle Ages project, they will present on Monday. Haylie, Bailey and Kaylee are on this week for our "morning workout" routine. This will be our last week selling our tickets for the Year End Field Trip, so let's give it a big final push for Friday!

Homework - April 21st

Math: Pg. 124 (1-8) Language Arts: Begin working on the presentation of your speeches. Study Spell-a-Thon list words. Floor Hockey Tomorrow- Home game vs. Croft- Good Luck! Don't forget to continue working on the sale of tickets for our end of year field trip fundraiser.
