There will be a Math test on Wednesday dealing with our unit on Geometry. Following our unit on Geometry we will be exploring measurement. Final draft copies for our speeches will be due on Tuesday. I must say I am very impressed with what I have seen thus far! You should also be congratulated on your podcasts on Bullying. They were a big hit with the students last week during morning announcements. I will post them on our class site this week so you can share them with your family at home. Don't forget that our Spell-a-thon will finish up on Friday. Ticket sales for the Mother's Day basket have been good so far, keep up the good work!

Congratulations to our very own GG Times members Zachary, Bailey and A.J. who recently submitted a video in a national video contest and won. They interviewed WW II veteran, John Forbes, and submitted their video into a video contest sponsored by Friends of Veterans Canada. The winning prize was an all expense paid trip for their veteran, John
Forbes, to Holland for the 65th anniversary of the liberation of
Holland. This proved to be a rewarding experience for both the students
and veteran John Forbes. Well done!
