Congratulations to all team members who participated in the Soccer Jamboree over the weekend ... first place wow, good times! Good luck to A.J., Bailey and Zachary who will be delivering a technology in service to St. Andrews Elementary and K Park Elementary via video conference today. Our sales pitch podcasts will be uploaded this week for everyone to hear. Good luck to Haylie, Bailey and Justin K. who will be delivering an inservice to Mme. Gallant's class today on podcasting. A group of leadership students from MVHS will be here to perform dances for all of you Tuesday. On Wednesday the NB Ambulance will be here to deliver a presentation in the afternoon. Things are going to get a little "greener" in class this week. What could that Mr. Comeau be talking about this time ... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm? Don't forget that this weekend is a long one as there is no school on Monday due to the Victoria Day holiday, enjoy!

Don't forget to cheer for the last "Canadian" team left in the playoffs! First game is on Sunday. Heh, if Toronto was the last Canadian team playing in the playoffs I would probably ask you to cheer for them too ... but then again ...

The team took part in a cool health activity today. They blended the contents of a Big Mac with water and let it stand for 20 minutes. It eventually created three separate layers with the top layer representing the actual fat content of the burger. This lead to excellent dialogue regarding a healthy diet, life style and how they must take ownership of their own personal health. Check out our latest photos for some of the highlights.

The team had an authentic learning experience today! We had school principal, Mme Dianna, from Columbia share with us her professional experiences as a Columbian educator as well as many of the tourist sites of her native land, Columbia. She will be spending the entire week with Gretna Green Elementary. We would like to welcome Dianna to our school and we hope she has a positive experience!
