I had a great vacation this summer. My family and I went to my Gram's house in Newfoundland and stayed for a month. My favorite part of the trip was a
morning fishing in my uncle's speed boat. At first we didn't catch
anything. The next stop was kinda like the first stop. This time my
Mom caught a sculpin and Uncle Sid didn't catch
anything. At the end we went back and I saw a lot of really cool jellyfish.
Some other fun stuff I did was -
go to a sandy beach (more jelly fish), swimming at the Aqua Arena
and swimming at Aunt Mim's restaurant pool with noodles. I also went to
the Marine Center at Terra Nova National Park and
picked up a hermit crab and starfish at the touch tank. I saw a statue
of John Cabot at Bonavista, went to Signal Hill in St. John's and went
golfing with Dad at Twin Rivers Golf Course for the first time. It was a
great summer vacation.
