Students worked on outcomes 208-6, 210-13, 210-14 and 211-3 in class today.  They had to work as a group to figure out what makes an object float and what makes it sink.  A lot of discussion and problem solving as students tried theories and problem solved along the way.  The end goal was to make three objects float and two sink.  Owen took on the extra challenge and succeeded at making an object float that was in the sinking category by just manipulating the material.  Students are to write up their conclusion for next class.
