We have two concepts left to cover in Math 8.   They are the following:

SP1 Critiques data presentations

SS6 Understanding tessellations  (In French Un dallage)

This week we will learn about tessellations.  In French we call this a “ un dallage”.    Please watch the video and then complete the project.  The project is to create a tessellation.  Please take a picture and send the picture of your tessellation to me at angela.mcquaidmurphy@nbed.nb.ca .

Also, please spend some time this week practicing your child’ multiplication tables. .   I can’t stress enough, how important it is that your child know their multiplication tables by heart.  Please spend the time this week practicing them with your child.    If you would like a report of which multiplication facts are causing your child some trouble, please email me and I can send you a report from Reflex that identifies them for you child.  My email address is angela.mcquaidmurphy@nbed.nb.ca
