Math 7/8 

-W reviewed how to multiply two digit numbers. 

-Grade 7 had a video lesson, time to work on their textbook questions. 

-Grade 8 practiced two digit multiplications again.  We then reviewed how to model integer addition using counters.   Students continued some independent work from the textbook.  We will continue with it tomorrow. 

Math 7 

-Today we reviewed how to multiply two-digit by two-digit numbers.   We practiced modelling how to add integers.   We did a few questions together.   Students had time to work on questions from the book.  We will finish this tomorrow.  

Math 6 

-Today we reviewed number lines and the new term “nombre entier négatif”.    The students then played a game with cards to identify which numbers are larger.   Students created their own multiplication sheet using flashcards and answered 20 questions.   

-Friday we will assess their multiplication facts. 

Science 7/8 

-We Started to learn some new vocabulary around waves and tides today.  We watched a short video on hope well rocks. 

-We then had a little fun and ended the day with a game to destress.   This group has been working really hard.
