Science 7

Today, we got to know each other by doing our introductions.  We began discussing procedure writing when it comes to science experiments, especially the use of the imperative verb tense.  This lesson will continue for several days.  There is no homework.

Math 7

Today, we discussed terminating and periodic decimals and how to represent rational numbers as both fractions and decimal numbers.  This lesson will continue for another class or two.  We also went over yesterday’s homework sheet.  There is no homework tonight.

Math 6

Today, we got to know each other by doing our introductions.  We began discussing decimal numbers and how to represent them in a variety of ways (symbolically, with words, in a table and using expanded notation).  This lesson will continue for several classes.  There is no homework tonight.

Science 8

Today, we got to know each other by doing our introductions.  We began discussing procedure writing when it comes to science experiments as well as representing data in tables of values and graphs (scatter plots, bar graphs and double bar graphs).  This lesson will continue for several days.  Students continued working on a worksheet (“Les systèmes hydrographiques”) from yesterday which they will finish tomorrow.  There is no homework.
