What we did in class today.

Just a reminder that Wednesday after school I have Cross country and staff meetings, so I do not always have time to update the website.

Today was a busy day on the middle level floor.   We are starting to get all our online programs up and going.

Students now have passwords for Reflex.  This is a program that adapts to where your child is with their multiplication facts.

Students were also given their password to Netmath.   At the moment, it is in English as I am still setting it up.  This is a new program bought by the district.   Today most students had a chance to login and do thinitial tour.  I will continue to give out usernames and passwords as I set them up.  In time, I will be setting the program up to meet each students needs.

Mathletics is also back by popular demand.  We will have the games section, online competition, and tasks.

Students are also learning to sign into office 365.   They will have access to email through outlook.  Teams will give them a forum to chat, access to assignments and an online notebook where our class notes can be found.

It is a lot of information and we are taking the time to learn how to use it.   Education is changing and this “new normal” has this teacher learning many new tricks!  Please be understanding as we work through the set up.  :)
