January 27, 2010 was Literacy Day at Gretna Green.  The children got to come to school dressed as a story book character.  They also had fun getting together with Mrs. Girouard's kindergarten's class to write limericks together.  They were very funny poems and they enjoyed reading them to each other.  Check the photo gallery below to see pictures from this day.
On December 4, our class, along with grade 3G and KA and KG were able to take a field trip to District Office to help decorate a Christmas tree.  We decorated the tree with stars that included a wish we had for Christmas.  There was a star from each  student at Gretna Green Elementary on the tree.  The tree sure looked beautiful!! If you would like to see this beautiful tree check below in the photo gallery.
We are vey excited to show you the movie we made titled "Mighty Miramichi."  In this movie the students search for their missing teacher while learning about the great city of Miramichi.  The students worked hard in creating their first movie using the green screen technology.  Watch for more movies to come!!  Enjoy the show!  Click below to watch the movie.
