This week in French, we continue to talk about our families. For example: How many people are in our family, who are our family members, what do they look like, what kind of personality do they have, what they like to do, etc. Students will also create a Halloween monster and orally describe and write about their monster in their writing journals. This activity is a great way for students to practice all of the French structures they have been learning since September. In Math, we will work on numbers 0-100 and also complete our unit on Patterns by the end of next week. I will send home a practice sheet on Patterns next week. Students should be able to: • Identify, extend, create, and compare increasing patterns.• Identify, extend, create, and compare decreasing patterns.• Find pattern rules.• Display number patterns on hundred charts.

Students are using vocabulary/oral structures taught in class with more ease and accuracy. I am pleased with their efforts in class! In French, we continue to explore our unit: “What makes me unique?” We will be reviewing previously learned structures as well as adding some new vocabulary /structures about " Family "(Ma famille) and Halloween. We will finish our "Animaux domestiques (Pets)" books this week.
In Math, we continue to work on patterns and numbers up to 90.
Bonne semaine les amis!
